Internet Entertainment Pioneer
Broadcaster-Interviewer-Commentator-Satirist-Producer
Many of you remember reading or hearing some of my thousands of national interviews, reviews, commentaries and news reports on AOL, CompuServe, Yahoo!, broadcast.com, United Broadcasting Network and numerous other major internet and radio networks going back to the early 1980's
Those of you who go back to the very start of the Internet, know that through my company,
HOLLYWOOD HOTLINE Inc., I created "showbiz going online" for the two companies that started it all--AOL and CompuServe. My company produced the only showbiz news, features, interactive forums, games, celebrity interviews, etc. that were available online. CompuServe from 1982-2002. AOL from 1985-1994. You also know that I produced and hosted the Internet's first-ever major daily live
streaming audio talk show from Los Angeles 1997-2000, "Stein Online."

FIRST EVER INTERACTIVE SHOWBIZ BLOG (called a forum) - FOR
COMPUSERVE
When blogs came along on the open Internet for everybody, and people were so excited, I just
yawned. I created the world's first Internet blog, "Showbiz Forum" on CompuServe.
Once the ONLY place online you could go to talk about movies, television and celebrities.
Roger Ebert became an additional co-host of this
groundbreaking Compuserve forum in later years.
